The A. have captured, at Aurá near the city of Belem,
State of Pará, 3.834 flebotomi, with 2.387 males belonging to 19 species,
in soil’s holes habited by armadillos. Many females captured and kept
in individual Adler’s glasses lay eggs. Amongst them two belonged to
the specie Flebottomus (Pressatia) triacanthus. There is description
of the eggs, the different larval stages, the pupae and the female.
